Pay Attention

As I was taking a little break to deal with life changes I got some good messages to share! I want to share two words “PAY ATTENTION”. When a teacher is trying to teach a lesson they want to make sure they have your undivided attention! Do you remember being in school and the teacher is up talking and giving us the necessary information to complete our assignments? Uh huh and then someone else is talking, we join in or the class clown blurts out something to interrupt the class? What happened? Everyone became distracted,we missed the information being given and the teacher has to regroup everyone back to state of focus! Okay and what about the good students who always do well and the teacher notices a change in their academics? Or the student that begins to progress after having one on one time with the teacher. They’re taking time to be tutored and studying more!

I used the classroom scenario because in life this happens all the time. In this season God is trying to get someones attention. You have been unfocused and not at your best! God has been trying to get you to learn and pass this test once and for all. He is tired of you being retained because of your distractions! Have you noticed issues coming in your finances? In your home? In your personal relationships? If you answered YES your teacher is trying to get your attention! The Lord is trying to promote you! he wants to elevate you but you have a hard time staying focused. You continue to allow yourself to become easily distracted. He is now testing your FAITH. The Lord is waiting for you to be serious about his work! It’s time to go back ( Worship Services, Sunday School, Bible Classes) and start getting tutored! He is looking for you to begin studying how you should (opening your bible and giving him time). Ask yourself these questions
1. When was the last time you participated in anything outside of Sunday Service?
2. If God has blessed you with a job, when was the last time you actually gave 10% to him?
3. How is your personal prayer and study time with God?
4. Do you see spiritual growth within yourself?
5. Are your current surroundings aiding your growth? or does it aid in you being distracted?

Your promotion depends on you! Your NEXT LEVEL depends on you! Get back focused and do what is required of you from the Lord! This time “PAY ATTENTION”!
